Just the basics, for the naked basics.

Just the basics, for the naked basics.

Urban Decay has released their NAKED Basics Palette with six perfectly neutral shades of shadows for fans of mattes. I know I’m one of them. I personally prefer an all matte look over shimmer. when i started with makeup matte was all i wore. Lol I had a really bad expierence with shimmer once and just figured ill stick to matte till i perfect my skills..

Anyways this small palm sized palette has a suede-like texture on the exterior and also holds a mirror, with six shades (0.05 US oz each). If you arent a matte type of girl this pallete isnt for you. Although i have to say I think it’s nice to have all the basics in a small afordable palette. A goto palette to virtually complement any look you might be doing with other colors.

The shade breakdown…
■Venus — soft, off-white demi-matte
■Foxy — very light yellow/beige matte
■Walk of Shame — very light pinky nude matte
■NAKED2 — rosy taupe matte
■Faint — warm, dusty brown matte
■Crave — deepest, darkest brown/black matte

NAKED Basics includes four totally new and exclusive shades.

I must admit i havent had a lot of time with this palette but its already becoming one o my favorites and i find myself reaching for it more and more. I must say the UD has hit a home run in my book with this palette and i think this might be the beginig of a new start for us Matte girls!!
